Plan terms

1. Plans

  • Pact for Life is a one-time purchase, limited to the first 50 members. It includes unlimited websites and the features listed at purchase. [Define 'for life' precisely, for example for as long as Pact is offered, and what happens if the Service ends]
  • Pact Personal is a subscription that includes up to 10 websites.
  • Pact Pro is a subscription that includes an unlimited number of websites.

Prices and billing periods are shown before you buy. You can switch between Personal and Pro, and upgrade to Pro when you reach the limit of 10 websites, in your portal. [State when changes take effect and how any price difference is settled]

2. Reservations before payment opens

Until a payment provider is connected, choosing a plan reserves it. Nothing is charged. We will ask you to confirm before any payment, and you can cancel your reservation in your portal at any time. A reservation of Pact for Life holds one of the 50 places. Once checkout is open, a reservation that is not paid within 24 hours is released automatically so that the place can go to someone else. Your account and settings stay as they are.

3. Website limit

With Pact Personal you can add up to 10 websites. If you want more, Pact asks you to upgrade. If you switch to a plan with a lower limit while you have more websites than it allows, you must remove websites first.

4. Challenges and rankings

  • Challenges are optional and support the core product. They are not a contest and carry no prizes [if you ever add prizes, have a lawyer check gaming and promotion rules first].
  • You confirm your own progress with a daily check-in. Check in honestly. We may remove an entry from a ranking that is clearly false or abusive.
  • Taking part is private by default. If you choose public, your display name, days kept and rank are visible to everyone on the challenges page. You can switch back to private at any time.
  • Choose a display name that does not identify you and that is not offensive. Do not use your email address or a web address. We may hide, change or remove a display name that breaks these rules.
  • A ranking counts days kept only. It never shows amounts, products or shops.

5. Who can take part

You must be 18 or older. The extension currently works in Chromium-based browsers on a computer (for example Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera or Vivaldi). Pact is not suitable if your spending causes you serious money worries or you feel you cannot control it. If that applies, please seek help from a qualified professional. Pact is not a treatment or support service.

6. Your data

What we store and why is described in the privacy policy. You can download or delete your data at any time in your portal.

7. Software

The extension is an early product provided "as is". It can contain errors, may not recognise some shops or buttons, and may change. Please report problems to [contact email]. Do not rely on it to prevent a purchase. You are responsible for your purchases.

8. Please avoid sensitive purchases

Do not save products that reveal sensitive information about you or others (for example health, religion or sexuality) to your waitlist. You can switch Pact off for such shops or purchases.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited as set out in the terms of service, without limiting any liability that cannot be limited by law.
